Cherry Cherry Nutbread
Measure into a large bowl and mix on medium speed 1/2 minute:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 Tablespoons oil
1 1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup Cherriannes
1/4 cup sliced or whole maraschino cherries
Scrape sides and bottom of bowl constantly.
Pour into a greased and floured 9x5x3 cake pan or 2 81/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2
loaf pans
Bake at 350o for 55 to 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center
comes out clean. Remove from pan and cool thoroughly before slicing.
